Hello from the Rocky Mountain front range in Colorado! I live in Jefferson County at 7,153 feet elevation, about 30 miles west of downtown Denver. My name is Larry, and I'm glad you stopped by. My hobbies are outdoor activities, travel, and amateur radio. I currently hold the Advanced class license, callsign KI8FQ.

  I travel extensively throughout North America as part of my career. Much of my radio contact is through mobile communications or portable setups that I bring with me. I look forward to contacting you soon, particularly on 160, 80, 40, 20, or 10 Meters. As I travel through your town, I hope to hear you on the local VHF/UHF repeaters, too.

  I enjoy CW and County Hunting. I am a member of FISTS (#4729) and the ARRL where I am a Volunteer Examiner. I hope to pass the 20 WPM exam in the next 1 or 2 months and earn my Extra Class license. I also am preparing for the FCC 2nd Class Radiotelegraph Operator's License as an extension to my hobby.
