QSL.NET Advertising Info

I am new to HAM radio, though no stranger to electronics. I have been "distracted" by semiconductor manufacturing for the last 20 years or so, and am dismayed to find that much that was so easy to do back then has become difficult. WHY? Because electronics as a hobby has for the most part died. I hope to become a source for info that people might need to do the things that make electronics as a hobby so enjoyable (and that most HAMS should at least know about)

For two reasons, the focus will be local (the Los Angeles area). First... I am living in the area so that is what is of the most concern at the moment. Second... I can not think of a place that has more money and less technical savy than Los Angeles. The reasons are complex and discussing it here adds no value to this page ... so I won't. I hope the information here is useful and interesting.
