WELCOME
TO THE
CLARA REPEATER
"Emergency First, Courtesy Always"
The Clairemont Repeater Association owns and operates the N6SLD repeater which is located at 5,730 feet on the top of Santiago Peak. Santiago Peak is located approximately 23 miles east of Santa Ana and has excellent coverage over most of Southern California from south of the border to north of Santa Barbara and many miles inland.
We also have a repeater on the same frequency in the Victorville area covering the high desert which we plan to have linked in the future.
CLARA is a non-profit corporation and the repeater is listed as a private repeater. Currently visitors are welcome to use it for short calls and QSO's. We only ask that all users practice courteous and considerate operating procedures.
We try to maintain a frequency monitor at all times. If you want to report a traffic problem or need more information, feel free to ask a CLARA frequency monitor.
Membership Information
CLARA has two types of supporters, Associate and Member. Members are entitled to vote, use the Autopatch, use the 1.2 GHz machine and the 440 MHz machine. (Both with Autopatch)
