About Me

Hello, my name is Eric Wolf, and I am quite possibly one of the least interesting people you will ever meet. However, I am here for your amusement nonetheless. Currently, I reside in Dallas, Texas. I am 22 years of age, and I am single, hopefully not forever. I am originally from Richmond, Virginia. Growing up alongside a younger brother and sister led me to appreciate the quieter things in life. As for now, I think Dallas is where I need to be, despite numerous attempts by relatives and close friends to get me to come back home.

Although I absolutely love to go do things outdoors, and also go out on my days off with friends, I also like to stay in and work on electronics projects, like kit building, and also ham radio, networking, and computers. My favorite computer activity is playing with my Sun Ultra 10 SparcStation, which I am currently using to write and maintain this website. I enjoy camping, and backpacking, with my ham radio of course. Now that I have a new truck, a 2003 Dodge Dakota, I think it will be more fun to camp because I will be able to go to more of the out of the way places. Other hobbies include shooting pool, working on cars, building models, and ahem, VIRTUAL COW TIPPING! (That's a joke, don't call PETA on me.)

Currently, I am employed by Federal Reserve Information Technology, working in National Network Operations, Dallas, Tx. My current position allows me to interact with all kinds of people with different skill levels from across the country. In the next few years, I have ambitions of being promoted to Network Engineering, or Network Security.

Education has been something I have not been able to find the time for since I left high school. I graduated from Patrick Henry High School, in Ashland, Virginia, in 1999, with a GPA of 3.9. College was not as successful. I began Virginia Commonwealth University that fall, declaring my major as Electrical Engineering. To make a long story short, I didnt finish partly because of being young and feeling the need to be free for a while, partly because of a GIRL. Dont worry, I plan on going back. I am looking into enrolling at the University of Texas, Dallas campus, and changing my major to Telecommunications Engineering, which I think I am better suited for anyway.

For now, I am enjoying a break from the fast paced life I am so used to. Aside from enjoying my new job, well, it's still pretty new, I have been here 6 months now, I am also taking the time to work out, and keep healthy. I have made some good friends here in Dallas, both socially and professional, but I still have not forgotten the friends I have left in Virginia. I always look forward to seeing them when I go home to visit.

Well, thats all for now. If you are really that interested in me after all of this, or, God forbid, interested in dating me, feel free to contact me. I look forward to hearing from some of you!
