Welcome to my website.  It is not much and maybe I will improve it and maybe not. I am admittedly lazy when it comes to web work , so don’t get your hopes up on some great website.

I am 26 years old, at the time of writing, and live in Vienna, Va a suburb of Washington, DC.  My grid coordinates are FM18iv, and my coordinates are 38° 54' 13'' N,    77° 15' 32'' W.   Well at least that is what www.qrz.com reports as my coordinates.

I received my Technician class license on September 1, 2001 at the VEC in Fredricksburg, Va.  I am currently studying for my General class license and the code portion.   I would love to work HF and do some DX’ing.

Why did I get into HAM?  Well, I am a comm’s guy.  I do lots of digital stuff, Datacom and Telecom and had a curiosity in studying analog communications.  I also work for Marconi Communications, so that definitely helps to spark interest.  However, the real push was when I found out about OSCAR’s (Orbiting Satellites Carrying Amateur Radio) that is what really pushed me over the edge.  I do not have the rig to do any real Amsat work yet, but anxiously await the day I track my first bird.
