I started construction of my K1 on January 14th, 2001. It was finished and on the air by January 28th, 2001. My XYL ordered it as a gift for Christmas 2000, but forgot to define which bands were desired so shipping was delayed until after the new year. After delivery, I studied the manual for a few days prior to construction. The following photo shows the K1 as delievered.

In the shack, the K1 is a truly beautiful rig, not only in it's looks, but in it's performance.
