I received my ham "ticket" on December 18 1998...it was my Birthday present to myself. In July of 1999 I upgraded to a Tech+. I am currently enjoying my HF priveleges as much as possible. Though I have not been a Ham long, I am thouroughly engrossed in Amatuer Radio. I have an Icom 765 running 100 watts into a 10 meter wire, and a Radioshack HTX-242 running 50 watts into a Genisys G-5M.
