My Ham Shack is the Master Bedroom of the Apartment.  Along the wall with the windows are 2 industrial metal shelving racks.  To the left is a huge chest of drawers my Grandfather built, and my wife's Armwa.  Both are used as storage.  To the right is a small green table used for battery rechargers and a workshop workbench with pegboard backing where I work on electronic projects.  In the middle is my wife's wood desk with a 486 computer on it for web browsing with it's own modem, and a microwave cart retooled to hold my base station.

On the metal shelving I currently have:

  1. 486 system running Windows 95 on a VGA color monitor.  Networked but with it's own 56K internal modem so it can operate during storms without me risking a lot of $
  2. 70 Amp Hour 12V Gel-Cell.  Used as backup power for the base station.
