ANTENNA VIEW(see text below)
The antenna picture was taken some time in January 1999
(as can been seen, there's still snow on the roof)
. The antenna is actually a 3-element 20 meter monobander
(the outer elements)
and one additional trapped element
(2nd from front)
for 15 and 17 meters.
the boom is 4.76 meter long
forward/back ratio is approx.
20 dB
on 20 meters and
25 dB
on 17 and 15 m
the gain is about 8 dbi at 25 degrees elevation angle
the antenne is mounted approx. 6 meters over roof, about 10 meters above ground
the rotor is the "unbeatable" YAESU 2800 type
I'm using line feeds for all coaxial cables (RG-214)
in the back of the garden I have a tuned triple-wire on a SCG Tuning Box up in a tree
up front you can see a vertical 2m/70cm CUSHCRAFT 4-ele for the
München FM
relais stuff and Packet radio use
By the way: FM Relais München DB0ULR
RX QRG 439.325 / TX QRG 431.735 MHz
and
123 Hz Sub Audio Tone
, located on top of the DEBA house (located in the South of München, in Solln, 19th floor).
