O gentlest Heart of Jesus, ever present in the most Blessed Sacrament, ever consumed with burning love for the poor captive souls in Purgatory, have mercy on the souls of Thy departed servants & handmaids. Be not severe in Thy judgmants but let some drops of Thy most Precious Blood fall upon the devouring flames, and do thou, O most merciful Savior, send Thy angels to conduct the souls of Thy departed servants & handmaids, to a place of refreshment, light, happyness, and peace. Amen.

May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Amen.

An Act Of Contrition

  Forgive Me My Sins,
Oh Lord, Forgive me my Sins - The sins
of my youth, the sins of my age,
the sins of My Soul, The sins of
My Body, My Idle sins, my serious sins,
The sins I know, The sins I do not know, The
sins I have concealed so long, and which are now
hidden from my memory.
I am truly Sorry for each and every sin,
Mortal and Venial, and for all of my sins,
For all of my sins of my Childhood up too The present
Hour.
I Know my sins have wounded Thy Most Tender
Heart, O My Savior, Let me be
Freed from the bonds of Evil through the
Most Bitter Passion of
My Redeemer,  Amen.

O My Jesus Forget and Forgive What I
Have Been!  Amen..

Resignation to the Will of God in Death

- a 3.5" x 5.5" Prayer Card, 2¢ each

Resignation to the
Will of God in Death
A sure means of salvation

From the writings of St. Francis de Sales, Bishop and Doctor of the Church: "Many people are tormented at death with the remembrance of their sins, and seeing that they have done no penance, are tempted to despair." He tells us that there is a perfect remedy – Namely, "to accept death and unite your death with that of Jesus Christ. And I do not at all doubt that he who is grieved for having offended God and accepts death willingly in satisfaction for his sins will immediately obtain pardon."

From the book "Preparation For Death" by St. Alphonsus Maria de Liguori, Bishop and Doctor of the Church: "To accept death in order that the will of God may be fulfilled, merits for us a reward similar to that of the martyrs, because they accepted death to please God. He who dies in union with the will of God makes a holy death; and the more closely he is united to it, the more holy death he dies. The Venerable Blosius declares that an act of perfect conformity to the will of God at the hour of death not only delivers us from Hell but also from Purgatory."

Prayer of
Resignation in Death
My most sweet Jesus, I accept the death Thou has destined for me; with all the pains that may accompany it; I unite it to Thy death, I offer it to Thee. Thou hast died for love of me; I will die for love of Thee and to please Thee.

It is recommended that you say this prayer daily as we do not know the day of our death, and what a blessing it would be to have said it on our last day.

You are urged to order this card for distribution for the greater honor and glory of our Dear Lord and for the salvation of souls.

"Time spent in honor of God and for the salvation of souls is never badly spent." Saint Padre Pio
