Scanner Frequencies in and around Russell County

Yellow indicates frequent local activity in Russell County, Bold indicates primary active use.(*Repeater input)

A lil bit about Russell County's infrastructure

Russell County's Fire and Police repaters are located atop Big A Mountain
Dispatch from 155.295 is performed via a telephone controlled remote base in the portion of Lebanon called Slabtown, the county's police low band vhf is also housed in the same facility but is rarely used. Newly erected in early 2001 the county placed its first EMS repeater on the air, its transmitter is located atop Dante mountain, currently dispatched simultaneouly along with the 155.295.
The Russell County Sheriffs office handles the dispatching of Fire, EMS, and Police.
Recent updates include a police repeater atop Big A mountain on 155.775 used primarily for Honaker Police.
Also a simplex frequency from Dispatch to Lebanon Police units on 154.0625.
