About KF4NYI Welcome to the page of KF4NYI My name is Al Brock and I live in Armuchee, Ga. near the Armuchee Creek. Age: 71 Years Occupation: Retired Salesman Married with one daughter Kay Cannon and two grandkids Noel IV and Ryan Cannon. My wife is also a ham operator her call is KF4NYH and her name is Virginia Brock. My Hobbies are Collecting Caps and DXing I got my first Ticket December 16, 1996 and upgraded in 2000. I am a member of the Northwest Georgia Amateur Radio Club and I am currently Vice President. I am a member of Skywarn in Georgia and a Severe Weather Watcher for NOAA. I am a member of the North Georgia Disaster Relief Team. I am also a member of the Dx Century Club, and have my DxCC for 200 countries. I've received my Worked All States (WAS) award. Station Equipment: Yaesu Ft-890 HF Radio (100w) 2 El. 5-band Quad on top of a 50 foot Rhon tower. 80-meter Dipole antenna up 30 ft. Heathkit SB-221, 1500 watt Linear amplifier. and all of the 2-meter and usual stuff is also in my Ham Shack, too.
