The Solar Panal System used at the KF4JVI Repeater in Tryon, NC

The 4 Panel solar array mounted on an a 30 foot telephone.   All power for our repeater is now supplied by this panel.  This solar array produces +12 amps at 12 volts DC in full sun .  Looking east - just slightly to the right of the telephone pole, you will see Tryon Peak and White Oak Mountain. Just to the left of the telephone is Howard Gap where Interstate 26 crest the top of Saluda Grade.
