This page is for info about the KF4IXM/R repeater I plan to put up soon here in Dayton Ohio. I am currently working on getting the equipment. Not sure if it's gonna be on 2 Meters or 70 cm yet, depends on what I get. The purpose of this repeater will be available for backup communications for local area SKYWARN/ARES if they need it, otherwise it will be an open repeater with autopatch, POCSAG paging capabilities for SKYWARN/ARES net control personnel and it will also be linked to Echolink.

This will be a coordinated repeater, I am working on the paperwork now for OARC. If they require me to add a pl tone, it will be posted and announced on the station id. Planned power output is at least 100 Watts. Location of the repeater will be in the vicinity of Highway 35 East and Smithville Road, East Dayton at an approximately 921 feet ASL. Tower height is planned to be around 80 Feet.
