KC8HWV is currently working on her second "100 countries worked" on ham radio. She is also deeply involved in getting her second 100 IOTA (Islands On The Air) contacts besides trying to Work All States on 10 meters for the 10-10 club award. Rainey is also very busy researching and writing the DX/Contest corner column for the news letter and the club web site.
KE8TQ is currently the SYSOP for the MVFMA club PBBS Station. He also trying to wish 6 meters into opening up for some more DX on the Magic Band. Fred has also added the task of authoring the "ASK ELMER" column for the MVFMA club web page.

Amateur Radio
(of course, did you think it would be anything else?)Well, really I (Fred) am a digital and computer nut while the Wife (Lorraine) is into what is called "wallpaper chasing" on the HF frequencies of Amateur Radio. That means that she tries to contact as many countries, states and islands that she can and send a QSL (acknowledgement of the contact) card to them and receive one in return.
