How to Apply

This award has a basic level equal to the current number of Presidents of the U.S. This number currently is 43, George W. Bush being the 43^rd. Endorsements can be obtained at levels of 100, 200 and at the maximum number currently 261. Special endorsements for particular modes and or power levels are also available.

A log extract in alphabetical order by County Name must be submitted with the Awards Application and Fee. The log extract must include the following data: County, State, Callsign, Date of QSO, UTC time worked, Frequency, Mode and Report.

For individuals that have already worked all counties in the U.S. for CQ Magazine, you may provide your  USA-CA  number on the application form in the "Other endorsements" section.  A log extract will not be needed.

The Awards Application may be downloaded from the Presidential Counties Award web page or may be requested by mail including a #10 SASE.

The current fee for the basic award is $4.00. An additional $2.00 fee is required for special endorsements that will be printed on the certificate at the time of issue. Payment by check or money order should be made payable to Eastern Amateur Radio Society.

Certificates will be issued and mailed to recipients by the EARS Awards manager after requirements for this award have been met.
