Welcome to my Amateur Radio website, this site is primarily for electronics and restoration of older valve type radios (tubes).  I Collect, restore and admire the older radios, they are what brought us here in technology of today.  I do a lot of electronic tinkering, it’s funny I had a Finn Ham tell me one time that is the incorrect wording, tinkering is pots and pans he would say and not electronics.  Years go by and I still use the same saying because there is no other that really fits experimentation and creativity in electronics except tinkering, the “nerd or guru label just does not fit the description of working, creating and designing electronics circuits and solutions.

I have been a ham for some years now, my mentor was W4SS SK.  He was a very fine radio operator and a good friend and will be missed greatly.  I did disaster services for Palm Beach County Red Cross and met Manny on year there helping him on the roof of the Chapter house repairing some dipole antennas.  I have always been an SWL “Short Wave Listener” and ever since my early ages of 4 I listened late at night to the different countries, you could tell which station came on the air by their tones that they started out with, each one had a different one.  I am recreating this website so bear with me, there are some pages that are not working presently.
