Soundcard Modes for the 1278???
A while back, I came across an old page with some modifications to allow the 1278B to be used with some of the Soundcard SSTV programs (JVFax, Paskoson, etc.) At the time, I didn't think much of it--I had no use for SSTV. I was looking over the hard drive recently and happen to actually look at the files--the lightbulb went off and as they say "the rest is history". What will work for SSTV will also work for PSK31, MFSK16, etc!!
This looks like a really neat modification courtesy of Pierre, VE3ESZ. I haven't tried it yet, but when I do I'll be sure to let everyone know how it works! If I'm right, this thing should hum on the soundcard modes! Here's the zip file:
