My QTH and surrounding area scenery

For CQWW CW, I found a cottage rental through the internet located about 5 miles from the beach at 600 feet above sea level. The cottage owners, Bill and Cathy Cowern, were very sympathetic to amateur radio, having heard of the efforts by local hams in Hurricane Iniki back in 1992. Their 8 acre tree farm offered some nice antenna possibilities.
