Hi & Welcome to my webpage!

I am new to Amateur Radio with only my basic license.  My husband (KD8KLV) has tried to get me interested in HAM Radio for over 20 years.  Recently, I have been involved with Citizen Corps Programs and Disaster Preparedness Training, therefore I decided it was time to become a HAM.  I do not plan on advancing my license or spending a lot of time on the radio other then to practice basic skills to be able to help if there is a disaster.

I am currently the coordinator for the Ionia County CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) program and the Montcalm-Ionia County Medical Reserve Corps.  I am also proud to be an AmeriCorps Member serving as a VISTA which allows me to work with Citizen Corps Programs.

I love working with volunteers, coordinating special events, and coordinating disaster preparedness classes.  I also enjoy spending time with my family, camping, playing silly games, and working with my Registered Therapy Dog.
