Watsonville ARES provided critical communications for the Air Show this year including:  Shadows for key Air Show Personnel, Positions along the Deadline (crowd control line), two net controls running two seperate nets, shadows located with other agencies including Fire and the Civil Air Patrol.

Communication was achieved through two Nets running on seperate 2 meter repeaters (one primary, other for deadline positions), Amateur Television on 70, 33, 23 centimeters, and Packet for weather information.
