I hold an Extra Class License and my call is KD5YO. My wife, Virginia, has a no-code Tech License and her call is KB5THG. My favorite mode of operation is CW Ragchewing. I was a Navy Radioman from 1944 until 1946 and operated as a High Speed CW operator for the CAA-FAA in Alaska for a few years. For the benefit of any old retired CAA/FAA employees I was stationed at Port Heiden, Fairbanks, and Gulkana.

KD5YO is located in Choctaw County, southeastern Oklahoma, situated in the fertile area of Oklahoma called "Kiamichi Country". This area of the state is known for its forest, cattle production, and abundance of water. We are a short drive from 8 large reservoirs including Lake Texhoma.
