Signal Corps BC-342L Receiver

I acquired my first radio, a Signal Corps. BC-342 short-wave receiver while at Pepperrell Air Force Base at St. John's Newfoundland. This early acquisition stimulated my further interest in Amateur Radio.

I used this model receiver at the MARS station at Pepperrell Air Force Base in the late 1950s.
