Amateur Radio

As you may have guessed from the above header, my Amateur Radio Call is KD5OEA. I hold a Technician license and I am actively studying, as time permits, for my General. I am an ARES, Assistant Emergency Coordinator for St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana and an ARRL Official Emergency Station.

I have been active on 6 Meters SSB and have started working on VUCC with around 75 grids confirmed. Currently, I mostly operate from my vehicle with a Yaesu FT-5100 for 2m and 70cm and, a Ranger RCI-5054DX for 6 meters.

I'm good on QRZ.com for QSL information and will be happy to respond with a card.
