I got my "ticket" in March 2001 with several other Aggie stormchasers. Mine is a Technician class license, though I'm working on learning Morse code for an upgrade. I'm mostly into this hobby for emergency communications on VHF, especially severe weather spotting/chasing. If I weren't engaged to the most wonderful woman in the world, I'd spend more nights with my Icom T90 HT. I just moved from College Station, Texas, Brazos County, grid EM10tp to (temporarily) Missouri City, Texas, Fort Bend County, grid EL29fn. Go to my main webpage for lots of weather data. News: It's Spring 2005 and I'm NOT the Secretary/Treasurer for W5AC (Texas A&M Amateur Radio Club) anymore. Why? I graduated! :-) Ham links:
