The City of Siloam Springs is a StormReady Community. On June 10th, 1999 the City of Siloam Springs received accredation from the National Weather Service for a new project entitled StormReady. This new idea gives communities a reason to be prepared for severe weather. Siloam Springs was the first city in the State of Arkansas to receive this accredation and only the third in the United States. We would like to thank the National Weather Service for their efforts to educate the communities and give the cities something to be proud of for severe weather prepardness.
