Autotheme is a Windows Theme and Wallpaper changer. Instead of just randomly or sequentially changing the desktop without regard to the time of year, Autotheme makes educated guessed to show the appropriate theme on the appropriate day.

The program looks at the filename for keyword clues. For example, if it sees "reindeer" or "santa" or "noel", Autotheme assumes this is a Christmas theme and will show it only during the first 3 weeks of December.

If a keyword isn’t found, AutoTheme assumes that the theme or wallpaper can be shown any day of the year. If that assumption is incorrect, you can rename the filename to include the name of the holiday, or you can keep the filename the same and use the "Override" feature to tell AutoTheme when to display it.

Other features include picking a new wallpaper file if the theme has multiple wallpaper files. Allows you to put theme and wallpaper file into sub and sub-sub directories, so you can organize like themes together (like Holidays, People, TV, Movies, etc.). Autotheme also has its own Theme Manager you can use to change other elements some program’s don’t like the IE Toolbar and WinAmp skins.
