Tony

It seems funny talking about myself, I'm nobody important. Just your everyday joe.

My name is Tony and I grew up in a small town in N.E. Oklahoma. I haven't moved very far or for very long at a time, as a matter of fact I still live in the very town I grew up in. I can't find anywhere else that I like any better than where I am, I suppose that's a good thing.

I've been a diabetic since the age of 10, starting off taking shots and using tes-tape to check my sugar levels. Thirty-five years later, things have changed for the better, and gotten worse also. I now use a Medtronic Mini-Med insulin pump and absolutely love it. I am a "brittle" diabetic and cannot control my sugar with injections. The pump doesn't control it 100%, but it is alot better. I developed eye problems, complications from diabetes, in the late 80's and have been legally blind in the left eye since 92.

Some of my hobbies include: Amatuer Radio, collecting (and using) straight razors, shaving mugs & brushes, photography and genealogy. I am trying to break into Cowboy Action Shooting, but due to my eye problems and restrictions in driving I am finding it difficult to make any shooting matches. I joined the Single Action Shooting Society earlier this year (2012) and my legal alias is "Indian Territory Tom". CAS leads to a whole new addiction, reloading.

I also enjoy watching movies and listening to music. I favor old movies, but do watch a few new ones on occasion. My favorite actors are: Humphrey Bogart, Spencer Tracy, James Cagney, Edward G. Robinson, Lionel Barrymore, William Powell,Myrna Loy, Randolph Scott and John Wayne.

Musically speaking I tend to enjoy many differant types of music, from Big Band to Christian Rock. My favorite musicians/groups are: Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Louis Armstrong, Charlie Daniels, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys, The Sons of the Pioneers, Petra, DeGarmo & Key,and Whitecross to name just a few.

It was made by Chisholm's Trail and is a replica of Tom Selecks' holster he used in Crossfire Trail. Here I'm working on my draw seated in a period chair with the tools of the trade. I have several wild rags, this copper colored one is my favorite.
