WELCOME TO KD0JBN'S HOME PAGE!

This is a rework of a page I had on a previous host - some links and pages may not work properly yet.

I received my Technician Class license on December 13, 2004 as KCØTNJ. I saw my name on ULS that afternoon and made my first QSO with KØTHA (previously KCØTHA) on the drive home. On January 10, 2006 I was issued my vanity call KDØJBN. On March 6, 2007 I took my test for the General Class license and passed, it became effective on March 19, 2007.

Everyone has a unique story about how they got in to ham radio. So, here's mine...

My interest in ham radio goes back to about 1977 when I was in 7th or 8th grade. I was working with an Elmer to learn code, how radios work, the rules, etc. After a few months of this my Elmer became a silent key. So, it all got put on the back burner for a LOOOONG time.

If you find yourself in the St. Louis, Missouri area, I'm usually on the 146.850 Mhz repeater around 7:00 - 8:00 AM and 4:00 - 5:00 PM.

Feel free to browse around the various pages on my web site.
