NEW WEATHER STATION INSTALLED

On November 28, 2008, a new Davis Vantage Pro 2 weather station was installed at the KC9S site.  The rain gauge of the previous Oregon Scientific station failed earlier in November so rather than spending money on a new gauge, the decision was made to go with the Davis station.  Improved sensitivity and accuracy were the goals with this station and it seems to be performing well so far.  Data streaming to the internet of all weather data will commence on December 3.
