This is a QRP wattmeter that I built a little while back.
I bought the circuit board pre made at a local hamfest from
Far Circuits.
According to the documention of the board it was made to fit into a 4 "
Bud enclosure. But, after scavengeing around the junk pile
(as all good amateurs do), I found some aluminum plates that would fit the
bill just fine. After making the box and putting the circuit together; I
needed to make the hole for the gauge that will be used for the meter.
Below are some pictures of how I made the hole for the meter, and the
completed meter assembly. The circuit schematic and construction plans was
supplied by Far circuits as a
reprint of anARRL article.
The hardest part was redeisgning the meter face. The graduations and
numbering were done by hand.
