I was licensed as a Technichian as KC9CVH on 4 December 2002, and upgraded to General on 18 February 2023 after a long period of inactivity. I am currently active and upgrading my equipment. You can find out more about me here, though it is mostly not ham-related.


Summer 2023 (May-August) I am on Orcas Island, Washington (USA) – grid square: CN88mq. In addition to working out of the pictured Airstream Ham Shack, I may be doing some SOTA, POTA, BOTA in adjacent grid squares.


For base operations at home in North Carolina (USA), I am restricted to a rain gutter antenna:
