Constitution
of the
Eastside Outdoor Ham Club

Article I

The name of this organization shall be The Eastside Outdoor Ham Club.

Article II

The purpose of this organization is amateur radio as described in
Code of Federal Regulations Title 47 Part 97.

Article III

Members of this organization shall be licensed amateur radio operators.
Participation in club activities is required for membership. No dues will
be charged.

Article IV

This organization shall have a president. The duties of the president
are to preside over the annual business meeting, and to plan and
carry out the activities of the organization with the assistance of
the members. The term of office of the president shall be 1 year.

Article V

This organization shall have a trustee. The duties of the trustee
include maintaining a valid club station license, and insuring that club
station operation complies with applicable regulations. The term of
office the trustee shall be 1 year.

Article VI

The president and the trustee are elected at an annual business
meeting by a majority vote of the members present.

Article VII

The organization will have 1 and only 1 business meeting per year.

Article VIII

The organization will not have a treasurery or bank account.

This constitution was ratified on Saturday, May 25th, 2002, at the Max O'Day shelter in Deming Park, Terre Haute, IN, by Jim Osburn, WD9EYB, Roy Thomas, KG9GN, Jim Mc Fall, K9VDQ, and Ted Brentlinger, WB9QFE.
