I hold a General Class License (KC8KHL). I am a student at the University of Cincinnati majoring in Electrical Engineering.

I am involved in the UC Amateur Radio Club (W8YX) The club meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 1830 Local time in 607 Dabney Hall. The club repeater (147.060 + 100Hz PL) is located on top of the Calhoun dorm. The club runs a packet node on 145.090. Mail to w8yx@w8yx.

The former W8YX shack in 901 Swift Hall

We seem to have lost the old place for good and are now in an old dorm room in Dabney Residence Hall. I have some pictures and will put them up here when I get a chance to scan them in. The new shack is small but we got all the important stuff in. As for antennas we now have a dipole for 80 that will tune on 40 and 15 as well as some verticals on 2m.
