Scout Camps On The Air (SCOTA)

SCOTA is a program to help scouts and scouters get on the air.  Sometimes a scout that hasn't talked on the radio before gets "mic fright".   Seasoned hams have trouble with our camp names.  Muskingum Valley Scout Reservation may look simple but put it with static and overlapping signals!  Not to mention using Morse Code (yes people still use that)!  SCOTA is an attempt to make contacts simpler with the addition of a little fun.  Jump over to SCOTA.US and check it out.

2013 National Jamboree

Coming soon is the BSA 2013 National Jamboree! It will be held at The Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve.   The Summit is now the permanate home of the Jamboree!in July and August. I have been selected to be a staff member of K2BSA. Information about the station can be found on it's website here.
