General Knowledge Of Me:

Hello, my name is Steve. I'm an Amateur Radio Operator of the Technician Class. I have been into "ham" radio since 1995, and have greatly enjoyed it. My call is KC8AHN. I live in Newark Ohio with my wife, whom is studying to get her licnese. My station consist of a Kenwood TR 7850 and I have a Vertex VX-110 HT and my back up HT, A Standard C108A half watt HT.

You can find me on the 146.760 (123PL) repeater in Columbus or the 146.880 repeater in Newark. I also monitor the 147.060, the COARES repeater with a 94.8 PL.

Amateur Radio Club:

I am currently attempting to join the "COARES", of Columbus, Ohio. My first event for them will be on May 14th 2000 for the TSOV bike tour. I am looking foward to helping them as much as possible this coming year.

I am also looking into the CORC and the CCRA in Columbus as well.
