Wenatchee Washington is found in Central Washington State. The picture is looking south to north, the river is the Columbia River. To our west we have the Cascade Mountains. To our east is 4000 ft tall Badger Mountain. After that the state opens up into the plains of Washington. Wenatchee is The Apple Capital of the World. We raise first class fruit. We have hot dry summers, snowy cold winters. The past few years the winters have not been so cold and snowy.

Just got the FT-900  cause I needed something that would fit the new car. I am loving this radio so much, that I have a hard time putting it in the car. So I have been playing with it in the shack. It has the auto tuner in it, it is very nice to use. I am really enjoying it!

Antennas

I use a multi length dipole for all the bands.

I also use a Cushcraft AP8 vertical I use it ground mounted. It is one the greatest antennas I have used.  (So Easy) If you ever get a chance to pick one up do so. It is a great Ares/Races antenna. I have it set up with a bunch of ground radials. It takes just a few minutes to set up and you are working the DX... If you have one you want to get rid off send it to me.

In the car I use a spider antenna
 
 

This is the new to me SAAB 9000 it is set with a quick disconnect spyder antenna, and it is wired for the radio in the glove box. I have been having fun working mobile.
