Imperial Valley Repeaters

    The repeaters listed below are "Open" and accessible throughout most of the Imperial Valley!

    VHF Repeaters:

    WA6LAW Repeater : 146.28/88 (pl-162.2), located on Black Mountain; it provides coverage throughout the Imperial Valley, to include the Salton Sea and Yuma areas. It is considered the "Local Machine" by IVARC members. The repeater is owned and maintained by the Imperial Valley Radio Group (W6NST).

    N6LVR Repeater : 146.07/67 (pl-103.5), located west of El Centro at the 795 ft level of Superstition Mountain. It is owned and maintained by the East County Repeater Association (ECRA).

    KA6DAC Repeater : 147.84/24 (pl-103.5), located on Monument Peak; it provides coverage throughout the Imperial Valley and portions of San Diego and when linked with the ECRA / Arizona Repeater Association (ARA) repeater system, can reach as far east as Phoenix. It is also owned and maintained by ECRA.

    WM6Z Repeater : 147.72/12 (pl-103.5), located on Black Mountain; it provides coverage throughout the Imperial Valley, to include the Salton Sea and Yuma areas. The repeater is also linked to the ECRA / ARA repeater system. It is another ECRA owned and maintained repeater.

    WB6WLV Repeater : 147.75/15 (pl-107.2), located on Mt. Laguna; it provides coverage to the greater Imperial Valley and San Diego areas. It is owned and maintained by the San Diego Repeater Association. (SANDRA)

    K6GAO Repeater : 144.68/145.28 (pl-107.2), the Hi-Pass repeater system provides coverage to the Imperial Valley and most of the San Diego area. This is a great repeater to utilize when driving "over the hill" to or from San Diego on I-8. It is also owned and maintained by SANDRA.

    K6RIF Repeater : 147.63/03 (pl-103.5), located on Mt. Palomar; it provides great coverage to the San Diego area. This is not very accessible when mobile in the Imperial Valley, but is a good repeater to use from your fixed base operation. It is also owned and maintained by ECRA.

    WA6WLV Repeater : 146.04/64 (pl-107.2), located on Mt. Otay; it provides some coverage to the Imperial Valley and most of the San Diego area. This repeater can be accessed from I-8 starting near the Jacumba area. It is also owned and maintained by SANDRA.

    ROARS Repeater : 145.30/144.70 (pl-88.5), located in Ramona; it provides local coverage to the Ramona area. It is owned and maintained by the Ramona Outback Amateur Radio Society (ROARS).

    UHF Repeaters:

    N6LVR Repeater : 444.18/449.18 (pl-88.5), located on Monument Peak; it provides good coverage in the Imperial Valley and portions of San Diego. It has an Autopatch, Weather, and a 2 meter remote base. You need to be a member of ECRA to access these features, otherwise it is an open repeater.

    WA6WLV Repeater : 444.20/449.20 (pl-107.2), located on Mt. Laguna; it provides good coverage to the Imperial Valley and most of the San Diego area. It is also owned and maintained by SANDRA.

    WA6SYN Repeater : 442.80/447.80 (pl-88.5), located on Mt. Palomar; it provides great coverage to the San Diego area. This is also not very accessible when mobile in the Imperial Valley, but is a good repeater to use from your fixed base operation. It has a HF & VHF remote base; again, you need to be a member of ECRA to access these features, otherwise it is also an open repeater.

    KA6DAC Repeater : 441.75/446.75 (pl-107.2), located on Monument Peak; it provides coverage throughout the Imperial Valley and portions of San Diego. It is the ECRA / ARA repeater system "Link Hub" repeater. It is also owned and maintained by ECRA.
