hour/seven-day week secure communications, radio direction-finding, and
cryptologic operations facility for the U. S. Naval Security Group Department.
I was responsible for and directed installation, maintenance, troubleshooting
and repair of multiple antenna, radio, computer, specialized electronic
and general and secure telecommunications systems, as well as supervised
the calibration laboratory for general and special purpose electronic test
equipment. Organized, assigned, and performed various and multiple preventive
and corrective work tasks directly or indirectly through a combined military
and civilian employee and contractor team. Performed various electronic
evaluation tests and was the senior contact and troubleshooter for all
building, facility and grounds maintenance, including: Radio Frequency
Interference; computers, telephones and dedicated communication circuits;
High Volume Air Conditioning (HVAC) chillers and related equipment; electric
power generation, regulation, conditioning and static uninterrupted power
systems (UPS); and various alarm sensors, close circuit television, locks
(mechanical and electric), and special security access systems.
