Let's start at the beginning. An article from the Flying Pigs website in the April 2006 issue of Bacon Bits Quarterly (BBQ) by David White ( WN5Y ) roused my interest. It also took me to David White's website. I was "flabbergasted". This is truely a unique receiver. I had to have one. I ordered it and it arrived Monday 24 April. You can build it as a "HAM" receiver or a SWL receiver. David has kindly given me permission to document the build of my "ELR".
