Welcome, There is something here for every operator of two-way radios. The page is primarily geared towards Amateur radio operators, since Amateurs are the largest resource of volunteers that provide Emergency Communications.

After ten years in emergency communications, I have had the fortune of working with some fine individuals. From these individuals I have learned allot! The most important lesson I learned is to pass the knowledge on to others. I have developed training material for use on Amateur training nets, and for Amateur, REACT, and other radio related publications. The material has been developed to further educate fellow radio operators on Emergency communications. Please feel free to use the materiel as intended.

It is important to remember there are individuals who use other forms of personal radio services, to provide emergency communications. This includes General Mobile Radio Service, Family Radio Service and Citizen Band. When your community needs assistance, it will take everyone working together! REACT International, and many of its member teams have recognized the benefit of using one or more of these systems to provide emergency communications needed.
