My current QTH is next to the Petroglyph National Monument. That's my home brew 6M beam on the tower. November 2006.

Equipment is FT-736R for VHF/UHF weak signal work and IC-745 for HF. Antennas: Long beams for VHF, dipole for 40/80, and soon a 3 element beam for 20/15/10. My wife, Lisa, KE5INM, got her tech license in May,2005. We passed the general exam in September, 2006 and will upgrade to a general class license on February 25, 2007.

We are both still learning the code so we can be "real hams" and work more DX. We are members of the High Desert Amateur Radio Club in Rio Rancho, NM. I am editor of the HD ARC newsletter.(with Lisa's help) and also the Public Information Officer for the club.High Desert ARC

I have enjoyed VHF/UHF SSB weak signal activity for the past 10 years. Lisa and I are also interested in emergency communications work. We look forward to making new friends around the world on the HF bands. So, if you hear us on the air, be sure to give us a call.
