Photoshop Showcase Page 6

There is a long story that goes with the next 7 pics.  One of the guys I work with has this alter ego on Fridays.  Monday through Thursday, he is Desmond Washington.  On Friday, Desmond takes the day off and he becomes Jamario.  Desmond has this stuffed pig on his desk that he dressed up to look like a gangster pig.  That pig was pig-napped one day.  These are the ransom notes that I created.  I also created a news article about the demise of the pig.  The news article was copied from a real WFAA news article.  All I did was take out the text and picture of the article and substitute it with my material.  Desmond (AKA Jamario), myself, and everyone involved had a good time with this one.  After all the ransom notes and the news article, Jamario even released his own statement concerning the pig.  You would have had to be there in order to get the full feeling of how much fun we all had with this one.  Anyway, here are the pics as well as the continuation of my work.

This is the statement that "Jamario" released about his pig.  This is the only piece on my showcase that I did not create.  I only added this so you could see the full happenings with the pig issue.  I still can not express how much fun we had with this.

I do not remember how this one came about.  I think I was goofing off again and came up with this.

I ran across a tutorial recently that shows how to do something similar to this.  It was one of those that was meant to be vague and only tells you what filters to run but does not tell you the values or exactly how to move anything around and whatnot.

This is my latest work.  I had the thought of getting a picture of an old man, the older the better, the more wrinkles the better.  Then overlaying a clock onto his face in an attempt to say that time waits for nobody.  After a lot of searching for the right picture, this is what I came up with.

Oh I love this one.  I know it still needs work.  My supervisor was talking to a coworker and they were talking about long hair and how everyone has had to wear their hair for different jobs.  This man, Wes, had long hair.  The topic came up about how Wes would look like with short hair.  Mark, my supervisor looked at me and said that Photoshop would be useful.   Mark has been warned several times not to give me any ideas when it comes to Photoshop.  As you can see, I not only made Wes bald but, I made him a Conehead.  I hope you enjoy this pic as much as I did making it.

This is my latest.  I modeled it after the real thing.  Even though my attempt ended up a little thicker and shorter than the real meter I have, I still like how it turned out.

I hope you enjoy...

Well, this is it for now.  As I pull stuff out of archive I will add it here.
