| The Twin City Ham Club held their annual Hamfest on November 12, 2005. We had dealers with new equipment and supplies. There was a variety of used equipment and supplies available to select. This year we had several tables with craft type items to buy. We had a collection box for toys for the ARRL 2005 Holiday Toy Drive. The League has partnered with The Salvation Army for this year's effort to bring some holiday cheer to children left homeless or displaced in the aftermath of hurricanes Katrina and Rita.  Local radio and TV stations gave some good media coverage of the hamfest and things the ham operators do throughout the year.  A variety of door prizes were given away during the day.
