| The Annual Field day was June 25-26, 2005. Field Day was held in three locations in the Monroe~West Monroe area this year. The event kicked off at 1 P.M. on Saturday, June 25 and ended at 1 P.M. Sunday, June 26. The Twin City Ham Club held Field Day festivities in Kiroli Park again this year. Paul, KE5BLL and Wilbur, K5WCR were co-chairmen. Set-up began Friday afternoon, when several met to hang antenna in the trees. The club entered in class 2A, with a GOTA station. Local ARES groups participated in Field Day from a separate location ~ the Ouachita Parish Emergency Operation Center. They used the same equipment which would be used in the event of a real emergency. Mickey, K5MC and another group held a Field Day at Cheniere Lake Park.
