It matters not how gloomy the night.
Nor does it matter how difficult the day.

our wonderful God is ready, always, to
lead us in His own marvelous way.

He tells us He will not forsake us, and 
His Word is more precious than gold.

When he gives us a promise, may we gladly
accept it, for it cannot be bought or sold.

God did not say life would be a rose garden,
Now does He promise us the wealth of this Earth,

But He does promise to walk with us, whether
it be sorrow, troubles, or mirth.

God does not say it will be easy, 
but He does say He will be there,

To take care of our every need, 
and our every burden gladly bear.

So we need never feel alone
with our trials and our sorrow.

For our God will always faithfully be there,
for our every uncertain tomorrow.
