In this stillness of the night when all the
world sleeps, a vigil over all His children,
our heavenly Father keeps.

As He looks down upon this earth He has
compassion from within when he sees the pain,
and sorrow, that is brought about by sin.

He has a longing in His heart to save all the
human race, and out of love He gives salvation
and his saving grace.

He allowed His Son to die upon the cross for all
the world to see, and by this kind deed has made
it possible for all to be set free.

God has given us no other way, salvation to obtain,
For Jesus provides that open door through which
we may come, and eternal life be gained.

So look to Jesus, come to the foot of the cross,
and, leave all your burdens there, and receive a
peace that He is more than willing to share.

Then, you may come to know Him as your Friend,
for that is what He wants to be. Don't miss the 
blessings He has for all who come on bended knee.

At last, at home in heaven with our God, no
longer to shed a tear, for death will not mar
our happiness, and Jesus has removed all fear.
