When God spoke these words He knew our hearts, and
realized the pain. And that without Him in our lives,
there would be nothing for us, but the awfulness of
sin, guilt, and shame.

He knows the turmoil and the strife that is present
in this world, and wants to spare us from the troubles
that from Satan's darts are hurled.

By being still we learn His ways, and find His
aim for us. The things seem to fall in place
with very little effort, and hardly any fuss.

Sometimes, in order for us to listen, an to help
us to be still, tragedy in our lives may come,
and as a result, we seek His face, and then,
we learn His will.

God, in His wisdom knows what's best for all his
children dear, and longs to be a Friend to each,
and everyone that's here.

So when He says "Be still" it is for our own good,
and out of that stillness we will learn what we need
to do, and should.

and as you travel life's pathway, be not overcome
with care, just look to God, be still, and learn
His ways, and your burdens He will gladly bear.
