There can be times in ones life, when all
hope is gone, and all of our dreams are
shattered, and no matter how hard we try,
it seems, everything turns out wrong.

But, when you begin to think life has passed
you by, and nothing is worthwhile, there is a
Friend who loves and cares for you, and has
walked that second mile.

So, don't give up, and say, it's the end,
you must look up, and seek your Friend,
for He is there to see you through, and
will walk that second mile with you.

When the violent storms of life are raging,
and the waves come crashing in, seek the one
who can save you, and cast your cares upon Him.

Storms in our lives can be a blessing, but,
at the time we may not see, as it was with
Peter when he walked upon the Sea of Galilee.

While he kept his eyes fixed on Jesus,
everything was quite alright, but when he
turned his gaze upon himself, he immediately
began to sink from sight.

We cannot look within ourselves the answers
to find out, for if we do, we will surely
sink, as Peter did, without a shadow of a doubt.

We must trust Jesus with our lives, if we
are to know true peace, and allow Him to
be our faithful guide, for, in Him we can find relief.
