 ZONE OFFICER DUTIES

The Zone Officer will coordinate efforts in their area during a time of need, by being familiar with the potential hazards (disasters), planned responses (communication needs), and available resources (manpower and equipment) in their zone. The Zone Officer should also encourage people to participate in whatever way they can. The townships in each fire zone are listed below. Telephone contact information will be provided to the registrants of each respective zone.

If you would like to join one or both of these groups, please print out the appropriate application for ARES or RACES. Send it in via snail mail to 175 Arsenal St., Watertown, NY 13601. *It is customary to have an automatic enrollment in ARES when enrolling in RACES. Please specify if you are only enrolling in one group.
